We were honored to welcome two special guests to the Heartful Group (Shimada Hospital and Eudynamics Vigorous): a pair of sisters who have traveled all the way from Pakistan to pursue their dreams.
This meaningful connection was made possible through an introduction from Professor Furui of Izumi University, whom I deeply respect. The more we learned about their background and their ambitious goals, the more moved we were by their passion.
The older sister is already a qualified doctor in Pakistan and came to Japan to deepen her medical expertise. Her younger sister, who is a licensed physical therapist back home, is currently enrolled in a Master’s program at the same university.
Their goal is to pass the Japanese national examinations and serve as a doctor and a physical therapist, respectively, here in Japan. They are currently tackling the high hurdle of learning the language while simultaneously working hard to master their studies and gain a deeper understanding of our clinical practices.
During their visit, the sisters were particularly interested in our approach to orthopedic care and rehabilitation at Shimada Hospital, as well as our focus on disease prevention at Eudynamics Vigorous.
Shimada Hospital: Providing seamless care for orthopedic conditions—from the acute phase to daily life.
Eudynamics Vigorous: Focusing on “Proactive Prevention” to prevent recurrence and enhance physical performance.
Their eyes were filled with focus throughout the tour, reflecting their sincerity as medical professionals and a genuine hunger for knowledge.
It is impossible not to want to support them with everything we have. Their extraordinary dedication and unwavering determination to become medical professionals in Japan are truly inspiring.
They have chosen to build a new life in a country with a different language and culture, and they are doing so with such strength and courage. We are confident that they will overcome any obstacle and achieve their dreams. Shimada Hospital and Eudynamics Vigorous will continue to support them every step of the way—we hope to be a home away from home where they can always feel welcome.
